William Webster (former Director of the FBI and CIA) speaks with Peter Jennings beginning 13 minutes into the segment. Judge Webster discusses the changes in Terrorism in the recent past and the desire of terrorists to increase the level of death involved within terrorist activity. Judge Webster also comments on the fact that this terrorism was done on a mediocre level (limited number of airplanes, concentrated group involved, not involving catastrophic weaponry). I hope we can develop a better means of profiling the kinds of people that could do damage, referencing particular groups and particular behaviors of individuals/groups. Very interesting commentary so early into the events of 9/11. More than half of this segment is coverage by ABCs Channel 7 in Washington, DC.
